About Me
With 3 years of experience in the ADHD field, including 2.5 years as the clinical lead in the ADHD team in Wigan, I have developed a deep understanding of this condition and its impact on individuals' lives.
My specialisations lie in adult ADHD and co-occurring ADHD and autism. I am constantly driven to expand my knowledge by staying up to date with the latest studies and research in the field.
A significant career highlight for me was the decision to leave the NHS and join ADHD 360, an organisation I am immensely proud to work for.
Prior to this, I successfully developed a new ADHD adult service and managed a substantial caseload of 2100 patients. I also collaborated with Autism Services, Paediatric services, and Prisons to create integrated pathways for comprehensive care.
The most fulfilling part of my job is meeting patients, providing validation, and working with them towards medical optimisation. It brings me great joy to follow up with patients and witness their reduced symptoms, knowing that I have made a positive impact on their lives.
Participating in ongoing professional development is crucial to me. Currently, I am engaged with EMIS and the ADHD academy, continuously expanding my knowledge and skills.
In my personal life, I cherish being a busy mom, wife, and friend. I enjoy going for walks in the woods with my dogs, indulging in reading, and finding joy in the simple moments of life.
I have dedicated myself to supporting other teams in Wigan by developing standard operating procedures and providing ADHD awareness training to PCN nurses, crisis teams, IAPT, CMHT, and Liaison teams.
As I continue to grow and learn in my position at ADHD 360, my unwavering focus remains on putting the patient first and striving for their overall well-being.
