About Me
With several years of experience across various healthcare settings. I have worked in general practice, crisis teams, drug and alcohol services, and forensic teams. My diverse background has given me a deep understanding of different aspects of healthcare and support services.
I have a special interest in areas such as personality disorders, drug and alcohol use, homelessness, co-existing neurodiversity, and mental health.
One of my career highlights includes transforming my rough sleeping clinic into a more agile service, which involved reaching out to rough sleepers in hostels and charities to achieve better outcomes for our service users. I am committed to ongoing professional development, regularly attending conferences and participating in peer supervision and support outside of my work.
The best part of my job is conducting assessments, where I get to know and understand individuals, developing a rapport that helps to create a relaxed environment, especially for those with anxiety.
Outside of my professional life, I am an avid rugby player and was part of the England Amateur World Cup team last year. I also enjoy gaming, cycling, and reading.
