The Patient Journey

We invite you to explore our Patient Journey page to gain a deeper understanding of what you can expect as you embark on your journey with us at ADHD 360

Welcome to The Patient Journey at ADHD 360

We understand that embarking on the journey towards understanding and managing ADHD can feel overwhelming and at times, uncertain.

Our patient journey has been carefully designed to provide a comprehensive, step-by-step approach to diagnosing, treating, and supporting individuals with ADHD.

Stage 1: Registration

Your journey with ADHD 360 starts with registering on our patient portal, Chrysalis.

You (or your advocate) will be asked to provide us with some of your personal information and complete our online screening questionnaire.

If your screening result is positive for ADHD symptoms, we will invite you to book an official online ADHD assessment. To secure your appointment we will collect an initial booking fee.

Booking An Assessment

Stage 2: Booking an assessment

Once your initial booking fee is collected, we will guide you through the next steps: completing a QbCheck and your to-do list.

A QbCheck provides your clinician with valuable objective insights into your attention, activity, and impulsivity levels. It’s a user-friendly test that you can easily perform on your laptop (if you have one), right from the comfort of your home. The test typically takes 30-40 minutes. You can find out more about QbCheck here.

Next, you’ll be asked to complete your “to-do list”, a series of questionnaires that explore your medical history, sleep, mood, substance use, and current observations (blood pressure, pulse, height, and weight)

Completing this stage ensures we have a comprehensive understanding of you and will allow you to book your assessment.

Stage 3: The Assessment

Our assessments take place online, where our clinicians use internationally validated questionnaires to help assess you. If you meet the diagnostic criteria, you will receive an ADHD diagnosis. We assess what form of ADHD treatment would be the best medicine, coaching or counselling. If ADHD Medicine is the best option, we work with you to find the right ADHD medication and dosage.

Stage 4: Treatment package

For private patients, we have two levels of treatment packages to choose from; Gold treatment package and the Platinum treatment package.

The difference between the two is: The platinum package includes an allowance of 2-3 hours of our time for additional letter writing or liasing with schools where required.

Stage 5: Follow ups

During your titration period, your clinician will provide regular follow ups as part of our optimisation process.

We keep in touch, usually every 3 weeks, over the phone to make sure you’re on track, but our ADHD specialists are available via email when you need them.

We will work with you to ensure your ADHD treatment is personalised and optimised for you. ADHD Treatment is not a one size fits all solution, so it’s important that we get it right for you.

Stable and Optimised

Stage 6: Stable & Optimised

‘Titration’ is the process of finding the optimal amount of medication for you. Once you and your clinician are satisfied with your treatment plan, we progress you through to the ‘stable and optimised’ stage.

To evidence your stable state, we request that you perform a QbCheck or if you progressed without one your original screening questionnaire to compare the difference before and after your treatment.

Stage 7: Reviews & Ongoing Care

Once you’re stable and optimised, we’ll write to your GP and see if they can take over prescribing your medication long term. This is known as ‘Shared Care’.

We don’t just part ways with our patients. We’re here to provide support if you need it and schedule annual reviews to ensure your treatment is still optimised.

To enhance your treatment, we offer a range of free and paid non-medical support like webinars, group support, and counselling.

Before you know it, you’re at your treatment anniversary ready to sign on for year 2 and beyond!
