About Me

As a mental health nurse with over 22 years of experience and an Independent Nurse Prescriber for the past 7 years, I have extensive expertise in understanding and supporting individuals with diverse mental health needs. My work has greatly benefited from my ability to collaborate effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team (MDT). I have developed comprehensive clinical and managerial skills through my experience in a variety of healthcare settings, including CAMHS and CHAT, both in community and prison environments. I specialize in working with children and adults facing psychiatric conditions, ADHD, and other mental health challenges.

In addition, my work in the field of Alcohol and Substance Misuse Services has honed my patient-centred philosophy of care through innovative practices. I pride myself on my excellent interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills, and I am committed to maintaining the highest standards of integrity.

In my leisure time, I enjoy reading books and professional journals, watching TV, traveling, meeting new people, and making new friends. I also enjoy attending the gym for fitness activities and regularly using gym equipment.

As a mother of four grown-up children, I cherish spending time with them and cooking a wide variety of meals for my family. Additionally, I care for my elderly mother, who suffers from early-onset dementia and long-term physical health issues.
