About Me

Since graduating as a mental health nurse in 2013, I have dedicated myself to working with patients who have ADHD diagnoses, in addition to my broader mental health practice.

As a qualified healthcare professional with prescribing abilities in the substance misuse field, I have developed a special interest in individuals who grapple with both ADHD and addiction, whether presently or in their past.

Through my work within primary care for a homeless charity, I have acquired significant experience and confidence. Assisting patients throughout their ADHD journey has proven to be especially rewarding for me.

To ensure the highest quality of care, I actively participate in regular supervision sessions and seize every opportunity for further training. Additionally, as an advanced aesthetic practitioner, I engage in continuous professional development (CPD) to uphold my practice in that domain.

Furthermore, I have aspirations to pursue a PhD in the near future, expanding my knowledge and contributing to the field.

The most fulfilling aspect of my job is witnessing the transformative moments in a patient's ADHD journey. From the initial assessment process, where patients feel comfortable sharing their most challenging experiences, to confirming a diagnosis and observing the relief on their faces, and finally, during follow-up appointments where medication has made a significant positive impact.

I feel immense gratitude for the opportunity to be part of each patient's ADHD journey. The collaborative knowledge and experience shared among clinicians, administrative staff, and management are invaluable in providing comprehensive support to our patients.

While I am not currently involved in research, clinical trials, or publications, my focus remains on delivering high-quality care to my patients.

In my personal life I prioritise pilates and exercise for personal well-being. However, my greatest joy comes from spending time with my children.
