About Me

I am a dual-qualified mental health nurse and psychiatric social worker with over 25 years of experience working in both social service and NHS settings. Throughout my career, I have gained extensive expertise in various acute community and specialist mental health teams, including eating disorders, CAMHS, and assertive outreach.

Over the last 5 years, I have focused my specialisation on ADHD nursing, and I am particularly passionate about working with adults with ADHD.

As a dedicated professional, I am registered with the Nursing Midwifery Council, ensuring that I adhere to the highest professional standards in my practice. I prioritise ongoing professional development to stay up to date with the latest advancements in the field. This includes participating in NMC Revalidation and undergoing specialised ADHD training to enhance my skills and knowledge.

Becoming an Approved Mental Health Professional and an Advanced Nurse Prescriber have been the most significant highlights of my career. These accomplishments have enabled me to provide comprehensive care and support to individuals with diverse mental health needs.

I also had the privilege of leading a successful NHS ADHD service before joining ADHD 360.

While I am not currently involved in research, clinical trials, or publications, my focus remains on delivering the best possible care to my patients and staying informed about the latest developments in the ADHD field.

The best part of my job is the opportunity to meet patients and accompany them on their ADHD journey. Witnessing the positive changes that our interventions bring to their everyday lives is incredibly fulfilling. Being a part of their growth and progress is both rewarding and inspiring.

Outside of my professional life, I find solace in various hobbies and interests that allow me to recharge and maintain a healthy work-life balance.
