About Me

I have been a qualified Mental Health nurse since 2019, assessing and treating adult ADHD. I joined ADHD 360 in 2021 as an Advanced Nurse Practitioner and have since been promoted to Deputy Clinical Director.

My particular focus within ADHD is on women and managing symptoms during hormonal changes. With a strong background in mental health, I have treated a wide range of conditions and developed a keen interest in understanding the overlapping symptoms between ADHD and other common mental health presentations.

Some of my career highlights include being awarded clinician of the year in the summer of 2022, speaking at an Annual NAPICU conference regarding nursing models of care for Psychiatric Intensive Care Units (PICU), and embarking on further education to complete my Advanced Practice MSC.

Staying up-to-date with the latest best practices is important to me, and this year, I had the pleasure of attending international healthcare conferences. As a leader within my organisation, I ensure that the knowledge gained from these conferences is shared with my clinical team.

I am also a member of the Mental Health prescribing forum for non-medical professionals which allows me to engage in regular forums and training.

The best part of my job is making a difference in the lives of the individuals I have the pleasure of helping. Seeing the positive impact and knowing that I've contributed to their well-being is incredibly rewarding.

Outside of my professional life, I enjoy spending time with my family and being a proud and busy mother. We love going for walks, which is not only enjoyable but also beneficial for our dopamine production. Additionally, I have a passion for music and have a broad and eclectic taste. Whether it's attending live performances or simply listening to music at home, it brings me joy.

I am deeply committed to maintaining exceptional clinical standards within teams and continuously enhancing my knowledge to deliver the highest quality of care to those under my service. The opportunity to positively impact the lives of others is central to my role, and it brings me immense satisfaction and fulfilment in my career.
