About Me

I have been working with individuals diagnosed with ADHD since 2013, gaining valuable experience in various settings. I’ve worked in CAMHS, where I specialised in ADHD, expanded to adult mental health services. Currently, I am fully dedicated to supporting individuals with ADHD across all age groups at ADHD 360.

My areas of expertise and special interests extend beyond ADHD itself. I have developed a deep understanding of co-morbid mental health conditions such as drug and alcohol addiction, psychosis, bipolar disorder, and trauma.

I am a member of the NMC (Nursing and Midwifery Council) and the Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR) Association, highlighting my commitment to maintaining high professional standards and staying up to date with the latest advancements in the field.

To stay at the forefront of my field, I actively participate in regular supervision, engage in online training courses, stay updated through articles and newsletters from the EMDR Association, and continuing to practice EMDR and Flash techniques when requested locally.

While every aspect of my job is rewarding, assessments hold a special place for me. The opportunity to evaluate and understand individuals' unique needs, strengths, and challenges is crucial for developing personalised treatment plans and interventions.

Beyond my professional life, I enjoy spending time outdoors, engaging in photography, exploring wildlife, immersing myself in local history, practicing meditation for personal relaxation, and maintaining a healthy lifestyle through gym workouts.

I have dedicated 40 years of my career to the NHS. Being a part of the healthcare system for such a significant duration has been a fulfilling journey, and I remain dedicated to delivering high-quality care to those in need.
