Titration

Titration is the step-by-step process of finding the right dose of ADHD medication that works best for an individual. Under the careful guidance of a clinician, medication is gradually adjusted to ensure it's effective while minimising any side effects. This helps achieve a balance tailored to the patient’s unique needs.

Developed by your clinician, this plan is tailored to your unique lifestyle, goals, and health profile, following NICE Guidelines.

Beyond your 1st year

After your first year with us (365 days from your assessment), renewing your package is required to continue your treatment plan.

If you are in shared care, this renewal ensures we can continue to support you with essential care reviews, address any concerns or adjustments to your treatment plan, and maintain your shared care agreement with your GP. This allows your GP to continue prescribing your ADHD medication through the NHS. Without a shared care agreement and ongoing input from your ADHD specialist, as required by NICE guidelines, your GP cannot continue prescribing your medication. Learn more about shared care.

If local shared care options are unavailable or you’re still being titrated, this renewal ensures we can continue to support you with essential care reviews, address any concerns or adjustments to your treatment plan, and provide your private prescriptions (please note that medication costs are not included).

Counselling for current patients

Counselling is available for patients assessed by us, either to enhance medical treatment or as an alternative option.

Counselling offers valuable support for individuals with ADHD by addressing the emotional and practical challenges that come with the condition. It helps build coping strategies, improve daily functioning, and develop personalised tools for managing stress and emotions. When combined with medical treatment, counselling enhances the overall effectiveness of care by providing comprehensive support that addresses both the mental and emotional aspects of ADHD.

FAQs

Please see below additional information about our pricing and packages.

What happens if I receive a Negative Diagnosis?

Patients will only incur the assessment fee when a negative diagnosis is determined.

This fee is set at £530 and includes all the costs associated with the assessment as well as a letter to your GP outlining the outcome of your assessment.

What if I need to cancel or change my assessment?

The assessment fee is non refundable unless we receive 48 hours notice via email or phone call.

If you want to cancel or need to reschedule, we ask for as much notice as possible. In some cases, we may be able to reschedule your appointment if we're able to fill the original slot.

What if I choose to not take a package immediately, but would like treatment at a later date?

You may decide not to start treatment right away for a number of reasons.

If you do decide you want treatment later down the line, you can decide to return as a patient with us. As long as return within 3 months of your original assessment date, we can arrange a follow up appointment with your clinician.

At this appointment, we’ll discuss options for treatment and medication to help you decide on a path that’s right for you. You’ll be invoiced for the package that you choose within a few days of your follow up appointment.

Your Private Medication

The costs of medication, when arranged as a private patient, can vary, and we don’t want there to be any surprises for you. The average monthly cost can be around £100, but this can vary between £35 and £250, depending on the type of medication and the dose.

We always strive to bring you the most cost-effective, safe, medical solution for your treatment. Working with our partner Pharmacy, we attract discounts from manufacturers and suppliers, which we pass on to you, our patients.

Please also remember that if we need to ‘top up’ medication or add in a further prescription for other issues, for instance, sleep, the costs will rise accordingly.

Please note that ADHD 360 do not take any fees for prescribing referrals or from any pharmaceutical company, we work independently with a commitment to our patients at all times.

What is a ‘Shared Care Agreement’?

A shared care agreement is an agreement between your GP and the specialist overseeing your treatment. In the context of your ADHD treatment, ADHD 360 would serve as the specialist overseeing your care. It allows your GP to take over prescribing your medication through the NHS, making it more affordable for you, while we continue to plan and oversee your treatment.

Under NICE guidelines, your GP can only prescribe your ADHD medication if a specialist is involved in your care. However, GPs don’t have to agree to shared care. If they don’t, ADHD 360 will continue prescribing and supporting you directly.

Your treatment package includes shared care support during your first year and can be continued by renewing annually. This ensures your care is consistently monitored, adjusted when necessary, and supported by ADHD 360’s specialist team.
