Ruth Kinioko
Nurse Practitioner
About Me
I have been an adult mental nurse since 2006. I started my career working as an inpatient nurse. Following this, I worked across Cat B & C prisons as a Lead practitioner where I specialised in personality disorder, and behavioural issues, developed emotional regulation groups and completed my Non-medical prescribing. As part of this role, I learnt about ADHD and helped support patients in accessing diagnosis but also supporting education services.
I then worked as part of a Dialectical Behavioural Therapy team which involved running groups and providing 1-1 weekly therapy sessions. I then moved into the community to run emotion regulation groups and prescribe in adult outpatient services.
