About Me
I am an experienced practitioner with a strong focus on ADHD in adult community and prison settings. I have been closely working with individuals with ADHD since 2018 and have experience in diagnosing and treating ADHD since 2021. I therefore bring a comprehensive understanding of this condition.
Within the ADHD field, my particular interest lies in understanding the experiences of individuals with ADHD who are navigating the Criminal Justice System. I aim to explore how their condition impacts their ability to navigate and engage with the system effectively.
One of the highlights of my career has been leading the development of diagnosis and treatment pathways for adults in community mental health services. This role has allowed me to make a significant impact on improving the care and support available to individuals with ADHD.
While I am not currently affiliated with any professional organisations or associations, my focus remains on providing high-quality care and staying updated on the latest developments in ADHD.
I actively participate in ongoing professional development activities to stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in ADHD. This includes attending relevant training sessions, webinars, and staying informed about new research and clinical trials that contribute to expanding my knowledge.
While I am not currently involved in research, clinical trials, or publications, I remain committed to delivering the best possible care to my patients.
The most rewarding aspect of my job is witnessing the positive transformation in individuals' lives as they respond to treatment. It brings me great joy to see the tangible difference that proper care and treatment make in their overall well-being.
My passion for improving the lives of individuals with ADHD has shaped my career. With a focus on the Criminal Justice System's impact, I continue to expand my expertise through professional development activities, aiming to provide effective diagnosis and treatment to those in need.
Beyond my professional life, I find solace and joy in spending time with my family. Activities like paddle boarding, skiing, and occasional camping trips provide me with the balance and relaxation needed to recharge.
