About Me
Having qualified as a Mental Health Nurse in 2012, I have had the privilege of serving individuals and families affected by ADHD through a variety of roles in both inpatient services and community teams. My experience spans across working with both adults and young persons with neurodiverse disorders, providing me with valuable insights and a comprehensive understanding of the challenges faced by individuals with ADHD.
I am registered with the NMC (Nursing and Midwifery Council) and the RCN (Royal College of Nursing), which ensure that I adhere to the highest standards of care and ethics.
Throughout my career, I have achieved significant milestones that have further honed my skills and enriched my understanding of ADHD. While I have not been directly involved in research, clinical trials, or publications, I constantly engage in ongoing professional development activities to stay up to date with the latest advancements in ADHD. Continuous professional development (CPD) is an integral part of my commitment to providing the best care and support to my patients.
The best part of my job is witnessing the transformation and improved quality of life that my patients experience through optimised treatment. Seeing the positive impact of intervention on their daily functioning and overall well-being brings me immense satisfaction and fuels my passion for this work.
Beyond my professional life, I have a range of hobbies and interests that keep me balanced and fulfilled. I enjoy exploring new destinations through travel, expressing my creativity through sewing, and keeping up with the latest trends in fashion.
