About Me

With a career in mental health since 2005 and specifically in ADHD since 2016, I bring a wealth of experience, empathy, and a genuine commitment to making a positive impact on the lives of individuals with ADHD.

I completed my mental health nurse training at City, University of London in 2004 and have since pursued further studies to enhance my expertise. I have obtained an independent prescribing qualification and am currently pursuing an MSc in Global Public Health. These educational pursuits reflect my dedication to expanding my knowledge and skills to better serve the individuals under my care.

My interest in neurodevelopmental conditions, their lifelong impact, and the support available for this population group drew me to ADHD 360. I am dedicated to exploring ways to help and support individuals with ADHD, recognising the significant impact it has on their lives.

Throughout my career, I have gained extensive experience working in various acute care settings, crisis teams, and first response services. These roles have allowed me to develop a comprehensive understanding of the challenges faced by individuals in mental health crisis and have honed my ability to provide effective care and intervention.

While working in different services, I have had the privilege of being part of leadership teams, where I have contributed to the strategic direction and development of mental health services. It is during this time that my interest in neurodevelopmental conditions, specifically how they impact individuals across the lifespan, grew. This passion for understanding and supporting this population led me to join ADHD 360, where I can actively contribute to the well-being and care of individuals with ADHD.

Research plays a pivotal role in my practice, as I firmly believe it is the foundation of evidence-based care. By staying abreast of the latest research findings, I can ensure that my interventions and approaches are informed by the best available evidence. I am committed to contributing to research efforts and leveraging its outcomes to drive innovation in healthcare.

Through my commitment to research, ongoing education, and a deep understanding of neurodevelopmental conditions, I strive to make a positive difference in the lives of individuals with ADHD and contribute to the advancement of the field.

In my spare time, I find solace in listening to audiobooks, which allow me to expand my knowledge and immerse myself in captivating stories. Swimming and taking walks also provide a much-needed respite and a chance to rejuvenate.
