About Me

With over 15 years of experience in CAMHS, I have developed a strong expertise in the field of child and adolescent mental health. Since 2019, I have been a member of a CAMHS ADHD specialist team, focusing specifically on depression, low mood, and self-harm.

As a member of the Royal College of Nursing, I am committed to staying connected with the latest advancements and developments in the nursing profession, ensuring that my practice remains informed and up to date.

One of the highlights of my career was the opportunity to work with the CAMHS team for the British Military in Germany. This experience provided valuable insights into addressing mental health challenges within a unique and diverse context.

Continual professional development is important to me, and I actively participate in online webinars and engage in peer group discussions to stay updated with the latest research and best practices.

While I am not currently involved in research, clinical trials, or publications, I am continuously dedicated to delivering evidence-based care and seeking opportunities to enhance my knowledge and skills.

I am passionate about making a positive impact in the lives of individuals with ADHD and their families. I strive to provide compassionate and evidence-based care, constantly seeking opportunities for growth and learning in order to deliver the best possible support.

One of the most rewarding aspects of my role is witnessing the positive progress that individuals make following an ADHD diagnosis and receiving appropriate support. It brings me great joy to see their growth, development, and overall improvement.

Outside of my professional life, I am a busy mother to two young children. Being a parent has deepened my understanding of the challenges that families face when navigating the complexities of ADHD, further fuelling my commitment to providing comprehensive care and support to both individuals and their families.
