About me

With nearly a decade of experience working with patients with ADHD across various clinical settings, and less than a year in prescribing and diagnostic roles, I bring both breadth and depth to my work. My background is firmly rooted in substance misuse services, but my passion lies in providing holistic, person-centred care - particularly for late-diagnosed women navigating the emotional and practical impact of their ADHD.

I’m a proud member of the Royal College of Nursing (RCN) and have nursed across all age groups in fields ranging from general health and mental health to learning disability and forensic medicine. Alongside clinical work, I’ve held several management positions, including turning around a failing healthcare service that was later cited positively by the CQC - a standout moment in my leadership journey.

Professional development remains an important part of my practice, with my most recent milestone being attendance at the ADHD Academy, where I explored emerging best practices and research in the field.

What I love most about my role is the ability to help patients feel validated, supported, and hopeful - especially those who’ve gone years without answers. Seeing someone begin to understand themselves through diagnosis and receive the support they’ve long needed is incredibly rewarding.

Outside of work, I’m a Reiki Master, a lover of all things dog-related, and someone who finds joy in gardening, shopping, and spending time by the beach - a space that helps me recharge and reflect.
