About me
I have over four years of experience working in mental health services, including two years specifically supporting adults with ADHD and two years in Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS). My clinical interests lie in the intersection of ADHD with perinatal mental health and eating disorders, areas where I believe tailored support can have a profound impact.
One of the highlights of my career has been developing a short-term prescribing intervention programme within the perinatal service, offering women faster access to targeted treatment during a crucial period of their lives. I’ve also had the privilege of leading an out-of-court disposal programme within the youth offending service, an initiative that provided young people with mental health support as an alternative to traditional sentencing - work that I found both challenging and deeply rewarding.
I’m committed to continued learning and clinical excellence and regularly attend the Non-Medical Prescriber (NMP) Quarterly Forum to stay informed of current practices and contribute to professional dialogue.
For me, the most rewarding part of this work is witnessing the real difference our care makes in the lives of individuals and families - whether that’s helping someone receive a diagnosis, access the right treatment, or feel understood for the first time.
Outside of work, I’m a proud member of both the Bird Study Group and the Sheffield Astronomical Society. I find peace and inspiration in observing the natural world - from the skies above to the birds around us.
