About Me
I have 11 years of experience working with children and young people with ADHD. My journey in the field began in a Child and Adolescent Forensic unit within CAMHS, and later I transitioned to managing and working in neurodevelopment services focused on diagnosing and treating ADHD.
My areas of expertise lie in assessment and diagnosis for ADHD, autism, and other mental health disorders. Additionally, I have provided cognitive behaviour therapy to children struggling with anxiety and depression.
I also have a keen interest in exploring both pharmacological and non-pharmacological treatment approaches for ADHD.
As a committed professional, I am registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Council and the Royal College of Nursing.
A significant moment in my career was being part of the National Commissioning Steering Group, where I actively contributed to influencing best practices in child and adolescent mental health services across the country.
I believe in continuous professional development, and recently I completed my non-medical independent prescribing course to expand my skills and provide comprehensive care to my patients.
I am naturally inclined towards expanding my knowledge and staying updated with the latest developments in the field, and I hope to be involved in research in the future.
The best part of my job is witnessing the positive impact I can have on young people's lives. Helping them achieve their goals and fostering improvement within their families brings me immense satisfaction and fulfilment.
In my personal life, I have a passion for traveling and reading books. These hobbies allow me to unwind and gain new perspectives, further enriching my experiences.
Overall, I am passionate about working with children and adults with ADHD, and am committed to providing the best possible care and support for those who need it.
