About Me

I am a Senior Mental Health Social Worker with a strong focus on supporting individuals with ADHD. I graduated from the University of Bedfordshire in 2019 and have since pursued additional training to enhance my expertise.

I completed the King's College London ADHD course, specialising in diagnosis, assessment, and best practice treatment. This training equipped me with practical strategies to aid the education and personal development of individuals with ADHD, which I find invaluable in my work.

With experience across various settings, including child and adolescent, older adults, and working age mental health services, I currently contribute to crisis resolution home treatment services. Working alongside a team of multidisciplinary professionals, I collaborate with Consultant Psychiatrists to conduct initial Adult ADHD follow-up reviews as part of the after-care package offered by IamPsychiatry.

In 2021, I received the prestigious 'Service User Award for Special Person' from the East London NHS Foundation Trust (ELFT). This recognition holds deep meaning for me as I have both professional knowledge and personal experience with ADHD.

Being diagnosed as an adult and being a mother to a son with ADHD has given me an in-depth understanding of the negative impact untreated symptoms can have on an individual's well-being.

I am deeply dedicated to improving the lives of individuals with ADHD, and I believe that my combined personal and professional knowledge enables me to make a positive impact. Through a comprehensive approach and a deeper understanding of the challenges faced by those with ADHD, I strive to provide the highest level of care and support.

My personal experiences have greatly enriched my professional skills, enabling me to provide collaborative and holistic care. I possess a profound understanding of how symptoms and impairment can affect individuals, allowing me to offer compassionate support and effective interventions.
