About Me

As an advanced clinical practitioner with over 20 years of experience in mental health nursing, I have found a passion for working with neurodiverse individuals, particularly those with ADHD and co-occurring conditions.

My expertise in substance misuse and mental health difficulties has enabled me to provide holistic care to my patients.

In 2020, I began assessing patients for ADHD while working as part of a street health team. Our groundbreaking pilot program introduced an ADHD service specifically designed for the homeless population in Yorkshire. Since then, I have continued my work assessing ADHD for both NHS services and ADHD 360.

As a committed member of the NMC and RCN, I prioritise maintaining professional excellence. I actively engage in CPD, obtaining recent qualifications to stay updated. As an advanced clinical practitioner, I understand the significance of a current medical portfolio for meeting role requirements.

I have contributed to research on delivering ADHD services to street homeless patients and have published a dissertation on adverse life events and homelessness. My publications also cover substance use, sex work, and novel treatment research.

The most rewarding part of my job is making a positive impact on individuals' lives. Whether piloting ADHD services in health inclusion or leading a street health team for homeless individuals, I am dedicated to helping people live their best lives.

I am deeply passionate about delivering a compassionate and exceptional service to all the patients I encounter. My ultimate goal is to support individuals in reaching their fullest potential in life.

While my professional life keeps me busy, I also prioritise spending quality time with my dog and cherished family members. Helping people live their best lives is the driving force behind my work, and I am grateful to be part of a compassionate company dedicated to making a positive impact on individuals' well-being.
