Nurse Practitioner
About Me
I qualified as mental health nurse in 2000. I have had the opportunity over the past 22 years to have obtained experience in several different areas of mental health nursing – which have included adult mental health both on the wards in hospitals as well as in the community. I have also worked in the forensic mental health services with adults and children, as well as working in prisons. I have experience in working within substance misuse services and set up and managed a community alcohol detoxification clinic within a GP surgery. The past years have seen me working within child and adolescent mental health services mainly focusing on neurodevelopmental disorders ADHD & ASC (Autism Spectrum Condition).
I enjoy the autonomy that being a clinician with ADHD 360 gives me as it enables me to enable me to work to meet the needs of my clients, empowering them to address their needs whilst we work together.
