About Me
I have over 20 years’ experience of working with people that have ADHD. Since 2020, I have been assessing, diagnosing and treating ADHD. This has allowed me to develop my knowledge, skills and experience with ADHD.
I specialise in general psychiatry and, in 2019, I developed a special interest in ADHD and other forms of co-occurring mental illnesses that are often associated with ADHD. I am currently associated with the NMC (The Nursing and Midwifery Council) which allows me to uphold high standards and stay connected with the nursing community. The highlight of my career is when I ran my own outpatient’s clinic for general psychiatry and for ADHD. As a result of this, I was able to help service users using both the pharmacological and psychological approaches to treatment. Throughout my career, I have achieved many professional qualifications, enabling me to enhance my knowledge and stay up to date with the latest advancements in ADHD. I hold a Associate Degree in Adult Psychiatric Nursing, an MSc in Professional Practice (Mental Health) Pathway and a Postgraduate Certificate in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy. As well as this, I also hold a qualification in Independent Prescribing, an accreditation with the Royal College of Nursing as an Advanced Nurse Practitioner and completed a Masters level module in Clinical Assessment and Diagnostics. This continuous learning and development in my knowledge allows me to preform my role professionally and help people with ADHD find the correct treatment options for them. The best part of my job is helping people and watching their lives transform. I am proud to be part of a company that helps people with ADHD lead better lives after treatment. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my wife and two children. I also enjoy travelling, cooking, listening to music and dancing.
